Miguel A. Vazquez, 64, of New Haven, died at his home, Dec. 25, 2017, after a long illness. He was the husband of Yvonne Rivera Vazquez. Miguel was born in Sabana Grande, PR, May 24. 1953 the son of Sergio and Estella Lugo Vazquez and came to the US when he was 13 years old. He worked for the Lindsley Food Service, retiring in 2014. Beside his wife his is survived by sons, Miguel Vazquez Jr. and Reymundo Vazquez, siblings, Sergio, Pedro and Lydia Vazquez, grandchildren, Soraya, Gabrielle and Miguel Jr. Vasquez He was pre-deceased by his step father, Vianny Rodriquez. Friends are  invited to go directly to St. Francis Church, Ferry St. New Haven, Friday, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM and may call at he Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, Thursday from 6 to 8 PM. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
