Matthew Barber, 53 of Waterbury, formerly of New Haven died suddenly in West Haven December 11th. Born August 27, 1970 in Mena Arkansas, he was the loving son of the late Dwight & Mae Phillips Barber. Matthew was someone who was always full of life. He loved Hot Rods & classic cars. He is survived by a sister Katherine Slie, a nephew Tucker Slie, a God son Joseph Daniele, and best friend Jerry Daniele. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor and concern for others. May he rest in peace. At the request of the family, all services will be privately held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
