Marylou Inzero Papelo, 82, formerly of Fieldcrest Lane, Hamden ,died at the Arden House, Aug. 21, 2014 after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Samuel Papelo. Marylou was born in New Haven, Nov. 4, 1931, the daughter of the late Peter and Julia Primiserio Inzero and resided in Hamden most of her life. A 1949 graduate of Hamden High School, she was a secretary for the DOT for 10 years, and then was a teachers aide in the Hamden School System. She coached Hamden Rec. Basketball and enjoyed hockey and bowling and spending time with her family. She is survived by her devoted sons, John S. Papelo of West Haven and Glen P. (Tracey) Papelo of Orange and two grandchildren, Sam and Julia Papelo. She was pre-deceased by her bothers Peter and Pasquale Inzero. Services will be held Monday evening at 7 P.M. in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Friends may call Monday from 4 to 8 P.M. Interment private.
