Mary Ann Young, 82, a lifelong Hamden resident died suddenly February 18, 2025 at Yale - New Haven Hospital. She was the loving wife of 45 years to the late John E. Young. Born in New Haven January 31, 1943, daughter of the late James & Josephine C. Vernale, Mary worked for many years as an administrator for the Quest Diagnostics Co.. She enjoyed cooking & sewing,and lately spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by sons John Young of Hamden and Anthony (Ani) Young of Branford, and grandchildren Tony and Lexi Young. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service Monday February 24th at 11:00 am in Beaverdale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
