Mary DeLucia Salvietti, 82, of Hamden, died at Conn. Hospice after a long illness. She was the widow of John S. Salvietti. Mary was born in New Haven, Oct. 13, 1932, the daughter of the late John and Margaret DeLucia and resided in Hamden all of her life. She was a sales associate for the Bradlees Stores for 18 years and did volunteer work for the Hamden Republican Town Committee. A wonderful cook and baker, she enjoyed providing for her loving family. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Ann Celone, a granddaughter, Nicole Mele (David), 2 great granddaughters, Gianna and Ava Mele, a sister, Minnie Hurley of West Haven and a brother, Michael DeLucia (Judy) of Hamden. She was pre-deceased by siblings Rose Ressa and Andrew DeLucia. Funeral Tuesday at 10 AM from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:30. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 10 A.M.
