Mary Manicone Rifino, 86, of 108 Arch St., Hamden, died suddenly after being stricken at her home. She was the wife of the late Crescenzio "Cre" Rifino. Mary was born in Hamden, Nov. 8, 1924, the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Cecelia Cannito Manicone and resided in Hamden all of her life. She was a seamstress for The Sunbeam and Albert Dress Companies and was a longtime active member of St. Ann's Church. She is survived by a brother, Santo (Mary) Manicone of Hamden, 9 devoted nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by brothers, Anthony Manicone and Frank Manicone. Funeral Monday at10:30 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Ann's Church at 11 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Freinds may call Monday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M.
