Mary A. Finta Pannella, 69, of 12 New St., Ansonia, formerly of Hamden, died April 8, 2012 at St. Raphael's Hospital. She was the wife of Genaro "Dick" Pannella. Mary was born in New Haven, April 2, 1943, the daughter of the late Steven and Pearl Balassa Finta and had resided in Hamden for over 40 years, prior to moving to Ansonia 8 years ago. She was the secretary at St. Stephen's School prior to her retirement. Beside her husband, she leaves daughters, Mrs. Don (Teresa) Shivas of Naugatuck, and Mrs. Joseph( Lisa) Maus of Woodbridge, a son, Genaro Pannella Jr. of Ansonia, a brother Steven Finta and an aunt, Lorraine Finta, both of Branford, and grandchildren Donny, Anthony and Angela Shivas and Laurel and Jenna Maus. Funeral Thursday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Ann's Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
