Mary Elizabeth Gargano, 94, died peacefully in her home in Meriden, CT on February 13, 2021. Mary was born on October 9, 1926 in West Hartford, CT. She was pre-deceased by her parents Anthony & Maria Cocchiaro and husband Salvatore Gargano. She is survived by her daughter Lucille Uhlan (William) of Meriden, her son Charles Gargano, and her grandchildren, Kristen Natlo (Nicholas) and Lauren Uhlan (Michael Eastwood). Her two great grandchildren, Giovanni and Luca, were the light of her life. Mary was a dedicated employee of many local banks for over 20 years. She was an active member of St. Annś Church in Hamden, CT. Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her generosity and love knew no bounds and she was truly loved by all who were lucky enough to know her. Her positive outlook, delicious cooking, and infectious smile bonded family, friends and neighbors together. She will be deeply missed. There will be a private burial and service.
