Mary Franco, 97 of Hamden died peacefully October 18th at Midstate Medical Center. She was the loving wife of the Late Sargeant Anthony G. Franco. Born in New Haven, daughter of the late John & Angelina Pacelio Lotto, Mary worked as a bookkeeper for Barkers Dept. Store. She resided in North Haven most of her life and lived in Hamden the last 30 years. She enjoyed trips to the casino and spending time with family. She is survived by daughters: Linda Franco and Laurie (Tom) Bellonio, both of Hamden, sons: Thomas (Donna) Franco of West Haven, and John (Laura) Franco of Cheshire, 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters: Edith Banner, Phyllis Civitello,  Millie DeMatteo & Carmel Pucillo, brothers: Andrew, Anthony, & Albert Lotto. Calling hours will be held MONDAY from 8:30 - 10:30 am in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell ave., Hamden followed by a 10:30 parlor service at the same location. Interment will follow in Center Cemetery, North Haven.
