Mark J. Borrelli, 51, of 10 Whitewood Dr., Branford, died Aug. 23, 2011 at Conn. Hospice after a long illness. He was the husband of Donna Green Borrelli. Mark was born in New Haven, May 25, 1960, the son of the late Louis and Gloria Mattei Borrelli and was a stockbroker for several major stock firms for over 20 years. He was a track and field enthusiast and was an all american at the hammer throw, while attending SCSU. Beside his wife, he leaves three daughters, Stephanie, Samantha and Leah Borrelli, all of Branford, a sister, Susan Borrelli, of Branford, a brother, Louis (Debbie) Borrelli, of Hamden and 12 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 A.M. in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Interment will be private. Friends may call Friday morning from 9 to 11 A.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Borrelli Children Fund, thru the funeral director.
