Marjorie Grace Solum Mongillo, 83, of 2364 State St., Hamden, Apt. 40, died at Arden House, Jan. 11, 2010. She was the widow of Pete E. Mongillo. Marjorie was born in Bismark, ND, May 22, 1926 and was employed at Mary Wade, Clellian Center, Giering Metal and the Soup Shop. She enjoyed crochetting and making afghans for the homeless. She is survived by children, Catherine M. DeLine, Louis E. Mongillo and Michael C.( Lynn VanWilgen) Mongillo, sister of James Solum and the late Marion, Ole, Vernon, Spud and Jack Solum. Grandmother of Debbie Verrilli and Ronald D. DeLine, great-grandmother of Vivianna, Matthew, Nicholas and Lucas. Friends are invite to a graveside service, Friday at 11 A.M. in Beaverdale Memorial Park and may call Thursday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, Ct.
