Obituary

Marion Fuggi Rubertone, 90, formerly of 75 Washington Ave., Hamden, died April 21, 2010 at Elim Park, Cheshire, after a brief illness. She was the widow of Daniel J. Rubertone. Marion was born in New Haven, April 4, 1920, the daughter of the late Antonio and Antoinette Meglio Fuggi and had been employed at Leon's Bakery, Hamden, for many years, prior to her retirement. She was a life long Hamden resident and was devoted to her family. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Christine) Earley of Hamden, a son, Daniel J. Rubertone Jr., of Derby, sisters, Gloria Votto of Cheshire and Rita DiCapua, the devoted grandmother of Justin and Zachary Earley and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by son, Robert A. Rubertone and brothers Dominic and Henry Fuggi. Funeral Saturday at 9:30 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday morning from 8 to 9:30 A.M. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann's Soup Kitchen, 980 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, CT. 06514
