Marie A. D'Amico Steffanos, 78, formerly of 81 Old Coach Hwy., Hamden, died May 25, 2012 in Waterbury. She was born in New Haven, Feb. 12, 1934, the daughter of the late Frank and Louise Marcuccio D'Amico, resided in Hamden many years and was a waitress at several local restaurants. She is survived by sons, Michael (Lisa Leogrande) Steffanos of Waterbury and George Steffanos of Hamden, sisters, Pamela Wakefield (Carl) of MA. and Louise Whalen of Rocky Hill and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Thomas D'Amico. Funeral services to be held Saturday at 10 o'clock, in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 P.M.
