Marie J. Carpentino Firine, 93, of New Haven, died July 30, 2018 at the Mary Wade Home after a brief illness.  Marie was born in Hamden, Aug. 7, 1924, the daughter of the late Salavo and Grace Carpentino and resided in New Haven most of her life. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Firine (Gary Jenkins) of West Haven, 2 grandchildren, Kristina and Matthew Firine and 2 great grandchildren, Alyssa and Gregory. She was pre-deceased by her brothers, Nicholas and Michael Carpentino. Friends are invited to go directly to Christ the Bread of Life Church, (Blessed Sacrament) Friday at 10 o'clock for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven. There are no visiting hours.
