Maria Fasulo Elcuri, 81, of 33 Beacon St., Hamden, died Sept. 14, 2011 at St. Raphael's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Benito Elcuri. Maria was born in San Lorenzo Maggiore, Prov.of Benevento, Italy, Sept. 4, 1930, the daughter of the late Antonio and Angelina Mucciacira Fasulo and came to the US in 1969, residing in Hamden. She was employed at the Henry Richards Co. prior to her retirement. She is survived by a son, Mario (Esterina) Elcuri of Hamden, siblings, Pasqualina, Marco, Adriano, Fiore and Luigi Fasulo, all in Italy, grandchildren, Benny, Mario, Jr., Maria, Joseph, Michele and Bianca and 5 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son, Joseph Elcuri and brothers, Lorenzo and Orlando Fasulo. Funeral Saturday at 10:45 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Homne, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at 11:30 at St. Ann's Church. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden. Friends may call Friday from 5 to 7 P.M.
