Margaret Barile Sorbo DePaola, 91, of 125 Putnam Ave. Hamden, died Feb. 19, 2011 at Whitney Manor. She was the wife of the late Michael Sorbo and Frank DePaola. Margaret was born in New Haven, Aug. 23, 1919, the daughter of the late Pasquale and MaryGrace Teta Barile and was employed at Voos Co and Geometric Tool, where she retired from. A longtime communicant of St. Ann's Church, she called bingo at the Young at Heart Club and on Thursday nights bingo at St. Ann's. She was the secretary to the Geometric Retirees Club. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James(Angela)Piscitelli of Hamden, a sister, Virginia Zamarchi of Riviera Beach, FL.& a brother Nicholas(Madeline)Mastracchio of Hamden. Grandmother of Michael(Trude)Piscitelli and Christopher(Rosemarie)Piscitelli all of New Haven. She was predeceased by Louise Nista, Vera DeLeonardo, Helen Teta and Peter Barile . Funeral Wednesday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Ann's Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
