Lucy Bozzuto Kissel, 88, formerly of Lane St., Hamden, died March 21, 2012 at Hamden Health Center. She was the widow of Lawrence Kissel. Lucy was born in Hamden, Dec. 12, 1923, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Rose Testa Bozzuto and resided in Hamden all of her life.She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by daughters Sue and her husband Carl Jordan of Hamden, and Judy and her husband Joe Mackay of North Haven, a son Larry and his wife Linda Kissel of North Haven, sisters, Josephine Creegan and Phyllis DelGrego, both of Hamden and Christine Hayes of Milford, grandchildren, Lawrence (Megan), Andrew, Martin and Michele Kissel, Casey and Nora Mackay and a great-grandson Connor Kissel. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Kathi Ann Kissel and siblings Catherine, John, Albert, and Anthony (Zeke) Bozzuto. Funeral Saturday at 8:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 9 A.M. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park, Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 P.M.
