Lucille (Palmieri) Torello died Tues., Feb. 23, 2021 in Worcester, MA, she was 84 years old and born in New Haven, CT on Mar. 14, 1936 She was the daughter of Raffaela (Savo) and Carmine Palmieri. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Robert Torello, and her three younger sisters, Marie Amendola, Susan Ferraiolo, and Dolores Davidsson. She leaves her son Robert Torello Jr, and his wife Linda Leonard of Wrentham, MA; her daughters Anne Torello and partner Thomas McDonald of Milford, CT, Elizabeth Torello of Douglas, MA, and Karen (Torello), her husband Gene and their two compassionate and loving grandchildren, Grace and Ella Gumienny of Douglas, MA. Additionally, she is survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends who she loved very much. She was extremely talented at cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting, and crafting. She loved to garden and was an avid reader. Her love of cooking was transferred into a cookbook that is enjoyed by many. She will be most remembered for her love of the ocean. She spent many summers in North Truro with family and friends and resided for some time along the beach in Milford before moving to Douglas, MA to spend the last 8 years with her family and grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at the St. Lawrence Cemetery 280 Derby Ave., West Haven, CT on SATURDAY, Feb. 27 at 11:00 am. Please arrive by 10:45 am through the main gate as you will be assisted to the location.
