Louise Arcara Parcella, 94, a resident of Hamden most of her life, died peacefully July 3, 2017. She was born in East Aurora, NY on Dec. 22, 1922, to the late Antonio and Stephana Buscaglia Arcara. After high school, she worked at Liberty Bank in Buffalo, NY and a short time at Olin Corp in New Haven. After WWII she started her family and raised four wonderful children. Louise's life was dedicated to her late husband of more than 65 years, Raymond P. Parcella, Sr. and to the extraordinary care she gave to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Raymond (Ann) Parcella Jr. of Wlfg., Valerie (Salvatore) Ciarleglio of Ocala, FL, Deborah Fazekas of Annadale, NJ and Robert (Cheryl) Parcella of Hamden, 8 grandchildren, Kenneth, Kyle, Anthony, Gary, Steven, Katherine, Michael and Bradley and six great grandchildren, Brooke, Samuel, Natalie, Amelia, Aaron and Hunter, one sister, Clara Bonadonna of Mount Morris, NY. She was pre-deceased by 7 brothers and sisters. Funeral Tuesday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, and at Christ, the Bread of Life Church (Blessed Sacrament) at 10 AM. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 4 to 8 PM.
