Louis H. Bove, 95, of Whitney Ave., Hamden, formerly of East Haven, died Nov. 13, 2009 after a long illness. He was the widower of Sara Folsom Bove. Lou was born in New Haven, Nov. 18, 1913 the son of the late Andrew and Florence Church Bove and a supervisor at the St. Raphael Hospital Linen Service prior to his retirement. He was a Army Veteran of WWII. He is survived by sisters, Cecile Scarinci of Hamden, Florence B. Donish of East Haven, a brother Charles Bove, a nephew Philip Scarinci of Hamden, nieces, Donna Vallone of Long Island, N.Y., JoAnne Reynolds of East Haven, Ellen Moore of West Haven and many great nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12 noon in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Interment in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 A.M. to 12 Noon on Tuesday.
