Lorraine V. Barbiuto Sette, 72, of Hamden, died Jan. 3, 2013 after a long illness. Lorraine was born in New Haven, Jan. 25, 1941, the daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Ranga Barbiuto and resided in Hamden all her life. She was employed at Elm City Cheese and Sikorsky Aircraft prior to her illness. She was a member of the Hamden Junior Womens League and enjoyed crafts, baking and playing bingo. She is survived by her children, Alice Sette of Hamden, Paul R. Sette Jr., of West Haven and Matthew (Dawn) Sette of No. Branford, siblings, Rita (Everett) Lister of Wlfg., Barbara (Rocco) D'Addio of Meriden and George Barbiuto of North Haven, a sister in law, Janet Barbiuto of Wlfg., 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Ronald Barbiuto and a nephew Rocco D'Addio Jr. Funeral Monday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Stephen's Churchat 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 7P.M.
