Lorraine Gibson Borsari, 81, of 214 Forest St., Ext., Hamden, died Nov. 6, 2012 at her home, after a long illness. She is survived by her devoted husband. Edmund D. Borsari. Lorraine as born in Wallingford, July 4, 1931, the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Tessmer Gibson, resided in Hamden most of her life and was a cashier at Qunnipiac University for 17 years, prior to her illness. She enjoyed arts and crafts, dancing and knitting and was a former member of the Hamden Promenaders. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Lynn Borsari of Hamden, a son, Gregory (Laurianne) Borsari of Fredricksburg, VA, a brother, William (Judy) Gibson of Hamden and grandchildren, Nicholas, Brian and Andrew. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Pamela Borsari, sisters; Lucille Borsari and Blanche Maines. Funeral Friday at 10:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 11:30. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 P.M.
