Linda Ann Caruso Ceravone, 66, of 375 Lee Ave., Cheshire, Ct. died Aug. 5, 2011 at Conn Hospice. She was the wife of 41 years to Joseph Ceravone and the mother of Joseph A. (Jennifer) Caravone of Charleston, WV, Christopher M. Ceravone of Brewster MA and Mrs. Scott (Laura) Jenkins of Kansas City,Mo., sister of Marie Prete and JoAnn Avallone, both of North Haven grandmother of Jacob & Mannon Ceravone and Zach & Ava Jenkins, and a very special friend, Glennis Gambardella of Wallingford. Linda worked at Connecticut Carpenter's Fund for 25 years as the Pension Benefits Manager. During her employment, she built a reputation of being well respected, while developing long lasting friendships that she deeply cherished. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and always put her family first. She was patient, kind, loving, accepting, positive and joyful and had a beautiful voice, smile and laugh. Linda passion was her family, UCONN Huskies basketball, knitting, cooking and spending time with her friends. Relaxing on the beach, watching the ocean, was one of her most beloved past times. Friends are invited to go directly to St. Bridgette's Church, Cheshire, Monday for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 o'clock, and may call Sunday, from 3 to 7 P.M., at the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Siute 200, Manhattan Beach, CA, 90266 Linda left this life far too soon, but her long struggle is over and we will deeply miss her love and her zest for life. We all believe it has been a privilege to be part of her life and she has been a blessing to have in ours.
