Lillian Lupoli Guarnieri, 98, formerly of McArthur Dr., Hamden, died Jan. 25, 2015 at Whitney Manor. She was the wife of the late Vincent Guarnieri. Lillian was born in New Haven, Sept. 24, 1917, the daughter of the late Peter and Antoinette Lupoli and was a Hamden resident most of her life. She enjoyed baking and bowling at the Hamden Lanes and volunteered many years at the Masonic Home. She is survived by her children, Joy (Paul) Niziolek of Guilford and Robert (Nancy) Guarnieri, of Wlfg., a sister, Nancy Cavallaro of West Haven, grandchildren, David (Melissa) and Michael (Andrea) Niziolek and Kelly and Michael Guarnieri, great grandchildren, Leah, Christopher, Andrew and Vivian Niziolek. She was pre-deceased by her siblings, Carol Diana, Connie Davidson, Ann Daily, Helen Papa, Fred, Mario and Peter Lupoli. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Saturday at 10:30 followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden.
