Leith D. Fraser, husband of Beatriz Gonzalaz Fraser, entered into eternal rest on Nov. 20, 2016. Born on Feb. 1, 1938 to Cleveland B. Fraser and Sybil Fraser Abrahams he lived in Kingston, Jamaica and attended St. Aloysius School and Swallow Fields School prior to coming to the US in 1954. From 1963 to 1967 he owned a gas station in New Cannan and then was a mechanic for the US Postal Service in Norwalk. He then started a heating and plumbing business, operating it until his recent illness. He was a humble, caring and kind person, a wonderful father and known for his infectious smile. Beside his wife, he leaves a son, David Fraser of CA., daughters, Renee C. Fraser of MD, Lisa Fraser of Milford and Sonya Fraser of MD, grandchildren, Amber Grayson Brandon, Arielle Dukes, Shayna Calandro, Chase Allen, siblings, Ethel Richmond, Gloria Fraser, Noel Fraser and the late Cynthia Fraser, Sandra Avanzo and Pearl Shaw and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3PM in the Iglesia Bautista Unida El Calvario, 126 Grand Ave., New Haven, Ct. friends may call at the church from 1 to 3 PM.
