Lebert F. Caroti, 90, of 75 Long Hill Terrace, New Haven, died Apr. 3, 2010 at the West Haven Veteran Medical Center after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Clara Grassi Caroti. Lebert was born in Belvernon, PA, Feb. 22, 1920 the son of the late Joseph and Lisa Caroti, graduated from the Culinary Inst. of America and was a chef at St. Raphael's Hospital 10 years prior to retiring. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, a member of the Woodbridge V.F.W. and the Petro Mica Club. He was pre-deceased by a daughter, Julia Caroti, sisters Mary, Sally, Foresta and Nina Caroti, a brother Bill Caroti and a brother in Law Tony Maio. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 A.M. in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Friends may call from 9 to 11 A.M. Wednesday morning.
