Kenneth A. Bertine 77 of Wallingford died peacefully March 25th at Yale N.H.H. after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Ann DelVecchio Bertine. Born in New Haven son of the late Ellahart Rainer, stepson of Charles Rainer, Ken worked in fire restoration for many years. He was heavily involved in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, was an avid UCONN women's basketball & Yankee fan, and loved being around his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by several nieces & nephews of whom he was very proud. He was predeceased by a son Shawn Erik Bertine, and a daughter Michele Lynn Bertine. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service SATURDAY at 11am in Centerville Cemetery in Hamden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Smilow ( www.givetoynhh.org ) or Relay for life ( www.relayforlife.org )
