June J. Laudacina Charles, of 7 Loller Rd., Hamden, died at her home, Dec. 21, 2011 after a long illness. She was the widow of Dominic Charles. June was born in New Haven and had resided in Hamden most of her life. She was a physical therapist for over 20 years in the Dr. Leonard Fasano Physical Therapy Dept. She was devoted to her grandchildren, loved to paint and play her piano. She was a member of the New Haveners Club. She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Edward (Marianne) Iuteri, of Greenwich, a son Dr. Joseph (Teresa) Charles of Stuart, FL., a sister, Leona Haddad and her husband, Capt. Carlton Haddad of Hamden, a brother, Dr. Robert (Dr. Eleanor) Laudacina of Rye, NY and 5 grandchildren, Dominic, Sara and Angela Charles and Edward and Sofia Iuteri. Funeral Thursday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Joan of Arc Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden.
