June R. DelGrego Barbuto, 87, a lifelong Hamden resident, died March 16, 2016, at Arden House, after a long illness. June was born in New Haven, Jan. 11, 1929, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Carangelo DelGrego  and enjoyed cooking and baking, especially for her devoted family. She is survived by her children, Linda (Pat) Cassella  of Hamden, Richard (Chis) Barbuto of Cheshire and Barry (Gayle) Barbuto of Hamden, a twin sister, Joyce Perricone of Hamden, grandchildren, Thomas Cassella (Nicole), Robert Cassella (Kelly), Daniel Cassella, Matthew Barbuto (Lindsey), Adam Barbuto, Tara Kerrigan (Kevin) and Melissa Barbuto and 7 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a brother Anthony (Jim) Barbuto. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 o'clock in  the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call from 9 to 11 A.M. prior to the service.
