Julia R. Yotch Prece, 89, of Hamden, died May 10, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Angelo A. Prece, who died in Februay, 2018. Julia was born in Johnstown, PA, the daughter of the late Bruno and Rose Yotch and resided in Hamden most of her life. Julia, with her witty remarks, would always be found tending her tomatoes and flower gardens. Thanks to Whitney Center and Gail Baily for being a friend to mom to the end. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Caruso (Valentino) and Kathleen Prece, both of Hamden, grandchildren, Valentino Caruso (Sara) and Dawn Caruso and a great grandson, Mr. Max. She was pre-deceased by her siblings, Estelle, Joseph, Michael and Barney Yotch.  Funeral Tuesday at 10:15 from the Peter H.Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Christ the Bread of Life Church (Blessed Sacrament) at 11 0'clock interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden.
