Julia Zampiello Guidone, 93, of Hamden, passed away on June 6, 2011. Wife of Frank J. Guidone, she was born in New Haven, January 13, 1918, daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Egizzi) Zampiello. Prior to her retirement in 1990, she was Executive Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of Eastern Press, Inc. in New Haven and Secretary and Treasurer of Eastern Offset, Inc. in Poughkeepsie, New York. She was a graduate of Larson College. She leaves a son and daughter-in-law Paul and Maria Guidone, a daughter Evelyn Rauccio, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Sidney and Albert Zampiello and two sisters Carolyn Bove and Helen McMahon. There are no calling hours. Friends are asked to go directly to St. Stephens Church Friday at 10 A.M. for a mass of Christian burial. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
