Judith Ann Cobb Taber, 59, of 865 Mix Ave., Hamden, Apt L2, died March 4, 2012 at Yale- New Haven Hospital after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of David S. Taber. Judith was born in Syracuse, NY, Feb. 28, 1953, the daughter of Jeannette Zimmerman Cobb of Syracuse and the late Robert Cobb and was a registered nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital for 20 years prior to her illness. She had resided in Hamden the last 30 years. Beside her husband and mother, she is survived by children, Jennifer Taber ( Michael) of Waterbury, Jeffrey Taber of New Haven and Adam Taber of Hamden and was the sister of Linda Henderson (John) of Endwell, NY, Carol Underwood (Jay) of Minoa, NY and the late Susan Ethridge. Funeral Thursday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Rita's Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden.
