Joy Ann Burnley, 44, of Elizabeth St. New Haven, peacefully passed away at home on March 1st. Born in New Haven, daughter of Robert and Aline Burnley, Joy Ann attended and graduated from ACES in North Haven. She attended the adult program ARC of greater New Haven. Joy Ann enjoyed social outings and traveled to family gatherings in Boston, Virginia, and vacations in Vermont. In addition to her parents she leaves a great aunt Mary Bailey, godparents Henry and Mary Reddish and multiple cousins and friends. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-7 P.M. at the Peter H.Torello & Son F.H. 1022 Dixwell ave., Hamden. Funeral services will be held Friday, 11:00 at Varick Mem. A.M.E. Zion Church, 242 Dixwell Ave., New Haven.
