Josephine DiGiacomo Fasulo, 89, of Canterbury Rd. Hamden, formerly of Beacon St., Hamden, died July 7, 2015 at St. Raphael Campus. She was the devoted wife of Fabio Fasulo. Josephine was born in Alvignanello, Prov. of Caserta, Italy, Oct. 30, 1925, the daughter of the late Ettore and Ester (DeFrancesco) DiGiacomo and resided in Hamden the last 40 years. She worked at the Arden House for 15 years, retiring 25 years ago. She enjoyed growing her own vegetables but her greatest pleasure was cooking for her family and everyone else's family as well. Beside her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Rosetta E. Fasulo of Hamden and Severino Fasulo and his wife Mary of Massapequa Park, NY, grandchildren, GianFabio, Matthew and Emily and a brother, Vincenzo DiGiacomo and his wife Bianca Ottenga of Asti, Italy, as well as her sisters-in-law Lidia Cardanini, Emma Cusano, Amelia Cusano and Maria Fasulo. She was pre-deceased by two grandchildren, MaryAlice and Elizabeth and siblings, Lucia, Amelia and Angelo DiGiacomo. Funeral Saturday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 8 P.M.
