Joseph A. Giordano, 75, of 72 Sumerset D, West Palm Beach, FL. died Jan. 2, 2011 in Columbia Hospital, W. Palm Beach. He was the husband of Angela Perrotti Giordano. Joe was born in New Haven, Aug. 11, 1935, the son of the late Joseph and Emma Zullo Giordano and was raised in the Westville section of New Haven, resided in West Haven prior to moving to W. Palm Beach, 14 years ago. He was the director of underwriting at the Knights of Columbus Insurance of New Haven, retiring after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed traveling and was an avid NY Giants fan. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mark (DonnaMarie) Roth of Southbury, sons, Louis (Lori) Giordano of Oxford, Joseph Giordano of Jacksonville, FL. and Mark Giordano of Bristol, 5 grandchildren, Steven & Kathryn Roth, Nicholas, Michael and David Giordano. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Louis Giordano. Funeral Thursday at 9:30 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Aedan's Church at 10:30.
