Joseph Flonc 52, of Hamden died suddenly at home Oct. 3rd. He was the loving husband of Deb DeAngelis Flonc. Born in New Haven, son of Fran Wozniak Amellin & the late Nicholas Flonc, Joe was a graduate of Quinnipiac University. He worked for many years as an insulator for Local 33. Joe was an avid snowmobiler, traveling all over New England to ride. He enjoyed fishing & golf, and loved all types of music. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Lindsey (Connor) & Abbey Flonc of Hamden, a brother James Flonc of New Haven, and a sister Susan (John) Jankovich of Florida. Friends are invited to go directly to Church of the Ascension WEDNESDAY at 10:30 A.M. for a Mass of Christian burial, and may call Tuesday from 3-6 P.M. in the Peter H. Torello & Son F.H. 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Burial will follow in Centerville cemetery.
