Joseph S. Cimino, 83, formerly of Gilbert Ave., Hamden, died June 24, 2013 at the Arden House. Joe was born in New Haven, March 23, 1930, the son of the late Vincent and Rose Mastroianni Cimino and had resided in Hamden most of his life. He was a supervisor at Yale University for 35 years prior to retirement and an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by daughters, Mrs. A.J. (Lisa) Riske of Clearwater, FL and Mrs. Peter (Joanne) Hoambrecker of St. Petersburg, FL., a brother Ernest S. Cimino and a sister Viola Incampo, both of Hamden and 4 grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by siblings, Louise Pezino, Mary DeVit, Bart, Dominic, Stephen, Pat and Ralph Cimino. Funeral Friday at 10:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeal Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 0'clock. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M.
