Jose Nunez Quezada, 32 of New Haven died tragically September 7, 2026. He was the loving husband of Damaris Ortiz Nunez. He was the son of Alberto Nunez & Felicia Quezada. Born in Jamao Afuera, Dominican Republic, Jose worked locally as a licensed electrician. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a step-daughter Keily Lugo of New Haven. Calling hours will be held Sunday September 13th from 1 - 3 pm in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. A prayer service will take place at 3 pm in the same location. Interment will be at a later date in the Dominican Republic.
