John Joseph Varrone Jr., 60, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully at home on November 4th, 2017. John is survived by his wife Diane of 35 years, son John J. Varrone III and his wife Laura, son Matthew Varrone , sister Mary Jo Gallo, and his loving granddaughter Giovanna. John was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.  John loved his family, cars, antiquing, The Beatles, Elvis, fishing & hunting. He also enjoyed spending as much time with his granddaughter as possible. John worked as a manager for Stop & Shop for over 40 years. He was always there to help friends and family anytime they needed him. John will be missed immensely. A memorial Mass will be held at 9AM on Monday at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St. Trumbull.
