John P. Riccio, 90, of 60 Hillcrest Ave., Hamden, died Oct. 20, 2014 at Whitney Manor. John was born in New Haven, Feb. 23, 1924, the son of the late Michael J. and Anna Costanzo Riccio and resided in Hamden all of his life. He was a printer for the Lee Printing Co, of Bristol for 35 years, retiring in1986 and was a WWII Navy Veteran. He is survived by a brother, George P. Riccio of Dekald, ILL, nephews, Kent Keith of Hamden, David Keith of Clearwater, FL and Thomas Riccio of Colo. and a cousin Vincent & Catherine Pantera of Hamden. He was predeceased by a longtime companion, Geraldine Cohan and a sister, Dorothy Keith. Friends are invited to go directly to Blessed Sacrament Church, Wednesday at 10 A.M., for a Mass of Christian Burial followed by interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff at Whitney Manor for all their loving care.
