John J. Meneo, 78, of Hamden, died Oct. 10, 2010 in Southington, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Marie Annunziata Meneo and Angelina Martucci Meneo. John was born in New Haven, Jan. 25, 1932, the son of the late Antonio and Ursula Antonucci and retired from the So. Conn Gas Co. after 40 years. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by daughters,Valerieann DeVencencis of Hamden, Michele Civitilli of Wallingford, Antoinette Haberay of Southington, Bernadette Nastri of East Haven, and Michelle Martin of North Haven, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by several brother and sisters. Funeral services will be held privately.
