John Ferradino, 92, of Hamden., died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the husband of Maria Simeone Ferradino. John was born in Formicola, Italy, March 19, 1925, the son of the late Antonio and Maria Angela Ferradino and was a machinist at Whitney Blake Co. for many years. He was a long time parishioner of St. Ann's Church and was an avid gardener and landscaper, and enjoyed many hours in his garden. Beside his wife, he is survived by his children, Anthony G. Ferrandino and Mary C. (Charles) McCowen, both of Hamden and a granddaughter, Caroline E. McCowen. He was pre-deceased by siblings Pasquale Ferradino and Giuseppina DiGiovannantonio. Funeral Thursday at  9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in Centerville Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
