Joan Daniels, 87 of North Haven, formerly of Hamden died Oct. 13th at the Grimes Center after a long illness. She was born in New Haven May 18, 1936 daughter of the late Charles & Anne Ventresca Sydney. She was the loving wife of 23 years of the late Louis Daniels. Joan enjoyed gardening, stamp collecting, sewing, photography, and playing the piano. She loved animals, especially her cats & dogs. Joan was a passionate artist, eventually becoming V.P. of the North Haven Arts Guild. She is survived by cousins, Larry Landino of Hamden, Valerie (Mike) Cricco of North Haven, Philip LaRose, and beloved companion Philip Chagnon. All services and interment will be privately held in St. Lawrence cemetery.
