Jean A. Maggi Colaiacovo, 78, of Hamden,died at the St. Raphael Campus, May 10, 2017 after a brief illness. She was  the wife of 56 years of Michael Colaiacovo Sr. Jean was born in New Haven, Oct. 19, 1938, the daughter of the late Gennaro and Helen Queeno Maggi and was in banking for over thirty years at American National and Lafayette Banks, retiring as assistant manager. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling and cooking for her family. A devoted grandmother, her grandchildren were her life. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Debbie(John) DiLeone of Hamden, Lori (Robert) DellaCamera of Northford and Michael (Gabby) Colaiacovo Jr., of Hamden, a brother Nathan (Nate) Maggi of Plantsville and grandchildren, Mark, Bobby Jr., and Anthony. She is also survived by many loving cousins and friends. Funeral Tuesday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park, Hamden. Friends may call Monday from 4 to 8 P.M..
