James Anthony DeLucia, 59, of Hamden, died Nov. 8, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Beth Elliott DeLucia. Jim was born in New Haven, Sept. 8, 1958, the son of the late James and Carmel Salvati DeLucia and resided in Hamden all his life. He was employed as an electronic technician from 1985 - 2012 for the same company known as ACopy, then IKON, and then Ricoh. During his career, he received numerous awards including Service Tech of the Year, Top Tech, Outstanding Customer Service and Presidents Club with distinction. He was a member of the Mix District, Co. 7 in Hamden. Jim was an avid fisherman and boater and was happiest on the water. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, William (Michelle) DeLucia and Allison DeLucia, all of Hamden and a grandson Ryan James DeLucia. Funeral Saturday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 P.M.
