James P. Bradley, 75 of Hamden died May 22nd at home with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Janice Torino Bradley. Born in Hamden, son of the late Charles and Mary Bourget Bradley, he worked for Wells Fargo and then as a maintenance foreman for the Town of Hamden, from which he retired. He was a proud U.S Army Vietnam veteran. Jim had a love for antique classic cars, he enjoyed nature, birds, and the great outdoors. Lately, James' passion was tending to his vegetable garden. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Steven Bradley of North Haven, and Charles (Amanda) Bradley of Hamden, his daughter Amy Bradley of Hamden, sisters Katherine Esposito of Florida, Linda Parslow of Hamden, Judy (James) Butler and Joan (Philip) Camera of Montana, Janet (Victor) Morello of South Carolina, grandchildren Nadia, Dylan, Natalia, and James, and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Verna Barber. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service with full military honors Saturday at 9:30 am in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Calling hours will be from 8:30 - 9:30 am in the same location. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
