Irene LoRusso, 92, of Hamden died at home after a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Michael LoRusso. Born in New Haven, daughter of the late Joseph & Maria Pires Ferreria she worked at the Pirelli Armstrong Tire Corp. Irene enjoyed playing golf and tennis. She is survived by sons; Michael (Roberta) LoRusso of North Haven, Gary (Diane) LoRusso of AK., Paul (Deborah) LoRusso of Wallingford, and John LoRusso of Hamden, brothers; Raymond (Pat) Ferreria of P.A., Adrian (Bernie) Ferreria of TX., a sister Georgiana Czaplicki of Clinton, and grandchildren Danielle & Gabriel LoRusso. She was predeceased by brothers Fernando & Ventura "Ben" Ferreria. Funeral services will be held FRIDAY at 10:30 A.M. in the Peter H. Torello & Son F.H., 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence cemetery. Friends may call Friday morning from 8:30 - 10:30 A.M.
