Helen Yelmini Brano, 86, of 44 Lynmot Rd., Hamden, died Oct. 4, 2009 at the Arden House. She was the wife of John Brano. Helen was born in New Haven, Nov. 20, 1922 the daughter of the late Peter and Bettina Bollandelli Yelmini and resided in Hamden most of her life. Beside her husband, she is survived by a son, Peter J. Brano and his wife Jan, of Hamde, a granddaughter Vicki L Rose and her husband Evan of Hamden, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by siblings Dorothy Innocenzi, Eva Consiglio, Irene Hoffman, Louise and Frank Yelmini. Funeral Tuesday at 9:l5 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Ann's Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 P.M.
