Heather Dawn Liscio-Gilbert, 58, of  Hamden, died Jan. 11, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born in Buffalo, NY, Aug. 10, 1959, the daughter of the late Paul and Geraldine Liscio and was a managing partner at Alert Answering Service for 35 years and dedicated her life and served as Treasurer, to the Evangelical Covenant Church. Heather was generous with her love, cooking, singing and laughter that she brought to her family's lives. She is survived by her husband, Harry Gilbert, sons, Jared Liscio, Justin Gilbert, Jordan Gilbert, all of Hamden, step sons, Christopher Gilbert, of Wallingford, and Jamie Gilbert of Meriden and step grandchildren, Skye and Taye of Wallingford. Siblings, Dorine Roy, Robert Liscio, Joann Droller, Jenny Crampton, Paul Liscio, Phil Liscio, Mary Ann Van Leir, Gerry Lynne Smith, Gina Cahill and Rocco Liscio. She is pre-deceased by siblings Lorraine Fonteyn and John Crampton. She was aunt to over 75 nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Funeral service Friday at 5 PM in the Evangelical Covenant Church, 590 Orange St., New Haven. Friends may call at the church from 2 to 5 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
