Harvey Horrocks, 78, of Hamden, died peacefully May 4, 2013 at Conn Hospice. He was the husband of Ann Horrocks. Harvey was born in New Haven, April 12, 1935, the son of the late Harvey J. and Juanita Mansfield Horrocks. He is survived by 8 beloved children, Barbara Nickerson, CA., Michael "CJ" Horrocks, CA, Joane Eastman, KY, Kevin Castillo, CA, Stephen Castillo, CA, John Horrocks, CT, Shaleen Horrocks-Silva, CT, and Bobbi (Joel) Rosendahl, Ct., loving grandfather of Crystal and Hunter Horrocks of Ct. and 16 other grandchildren in CA, great grandfather of Hailey Horrocks, CT. and 14 other great grandchildren. Brother of Garry Horrocks, CA and the late Ed, Rick, Dennis Horrocks and Donna Adey. Harvey proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps. Friends and family may call Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. A private ceremony will be held on Saturday morning.
